Women's Basic Handgun Course
6 Hours Total (4 Hours Classroom / 2 Hours Live Fire)

The Aegis Women's Basic Handgun Course is designed to provide women with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills necessary to safely and effectively operate a handgun. Whether you are a new firearm owner or looking to improve your existing skills, this course offers a supportive, professional learning environment focused on safety, marksmanship fundamentals, and responsible firearm ownership.

This comprehensive six-hour course combines four hours of classroom instruction with two hours of live-fire range training. Students will learn the fundamentals of handgun safety, operation, ammunition, marksmanship, and personal protection considerations before applying those skills on the range.

• The Universal Rules of Firearm Safety
• Handgun Types, Parts, and Operation
• Ammunition Selection and Function
• Loading, Unloading, and Safe Handling Procedures
• Proper Grip, Stance, Sight Alignment, and Trigger Control
• Malfunction Recognition and Clearance
• Safe Storage and Transportation of Firearms
• Situational Awareness and Personal Protection Considerations
• Live-Fire Marksmanship Drills and Skill Development

• Handgun in safe, reliable, working condition
